The internship program wants to recognize those preceptors and interns who go above and beyond in their roles. Criteria has been developed to help identify these outstanding individuals. Interns, site liaisons, and any preceptor in the program can nominate a preceptor or an intern. Preceptors donate their valuable time to precept our future dietitians. The internship program appreciates all the time that preceptors devote to the interns. As a way of saying “thank you,” the internship can provide several CPEs to preceptors.
At the end of each internship year, site liaisons are sent the link to distribute to all site preceptors. The survey gathers the preceptor’s confirmation and self-reflection to receive up to 3 CPEs per year as a dietetic intern preceptor.
